Tara Reid, who began making commercials as a child was the subject of headlines after her appearance of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She has performed her roles effortlessly, in spite of the scrutiny. She eventually got a big breakthrough as Bunny in The Big Lebowski. This movie was an important stage towards her professional career. She began getting higher offers for movies like Urban Legend, Cruel Intentions and other similar projects. But it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters that established Reid as a promising face on the horizon in Hollywood in her part as the virgin Vicky. But none of this led to a hugely successful Hollywood career. Reid did not do well in films such as Josie and the Pussycats. The actress did have part on the set of American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this was not enough to help her slumping career. The offscreen mistakes of Reid, well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous flash-and-miss appearances have made her more of an event-goer or designer rather as an actor.
